Dott. Tommaso SavoiaI graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the State University of Milan at the age of 24, with a thesis on ‘Artificial skin in the treatment of burn patients and new tissue engineering techniques’, obtaining top marks (110 cum laude).
Immediately afterwards I started specialising in Plastic Surgery (also in Milan), attending the Large Burns Centre at Niguarda Hospital, the Plastic Surgery Department of Fatebenefratelli Hospital and the Hand Surgery Centre in Magenta.
In 1999, thanks to an Erasmus scholarship, I attended the University Centre for Plastic Surgery in Toulouse, France. Back in Milan, I worked at the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori with Dr Maurizio Nava, dealing with oncoplastic reconstructive breast surgery. At the end of 2000 in Paris, I attended the Saint Louis hospital, cradle of the Dufourmentel and Mouly school of plastic surgery. Thanks to a scholarship, I attended the Hôpital Cochin in Paris, where I was involved in the intensive care of burn patients. Also in Paris, I studied eyelid and ophthalmoplastic surgery at the Rotschild Foundation. Since 2001 I have been registered with the General Medical Council in London and, after winning selection as an assistant surgeon, I served at West Norwich Hospital, Norfolk.
In 2002 I graduated in Plastic Surgery, with first class honours, at the age of 29.
During my final year of residency school, I attended the Maxillofacial Surgery Centre of the San Paolo Hospital in Milan, directed by Prof. Roberto Brusati. In the same year, thanks to Dr. Massimo Signorini, I started my professional experience in the Multimedica Holding, first as an assistant and since 2004 as an assistant.
In this great group of excellence I gained more than ten years of experience, which is still going on, where I had the opportunity to perform a very intense professional activity with more than 5,000 surgical procedures: mastoplasty, mastopexy, abdominoplasty, blepharoplasty also transconjunctival, facelift, liposuction and microliposculpture, functional and cosmetic rhinosectoplasty, mentoplasty, otoplasty, breast reconstruction, oncological facial reconstruction.
Alongside major surgery, I have continued to delve into the topics of aesthetic medicine, non-ablative laser therapy and dermatological surgery also with new laser techniques, publishing several dozen working papers and scientific articles.
I continue to assiduously attend professional refresher courses, congresses and internships both in Italy and abroad. I am deeply convinced that continuous training is the basis for professional success, in all professions and especially in Medicine.

I have a medical practice in Milan and one in Lecce.
I have a teaching post in the Master of Plastic Surgery in Milan named after Prof. Donati and the School of Specialisation in Plastic Surgery, where I give lectures on Eyelid Surgery and Mastoplasty.
I am ex officio technical consultant to the Court of Milan for medico-legal matters.
